My scientific interests:
In general, computer simulations and theoretical description of interfacial processes, mainly the processes in/at biological membranes.
- properties of phospholipid membranes and modified phospholipid membranes
- computer simulations and theoretical description of interfacial processes
- behavior of ions in bulk and on surface of water
- dynamics of chemical reactions on inhomogeneous surfaces
- influence of surface nanostructure on surface processes
- development of simulation methods
Computational methods and tools:
- molecular dynamics, both empirical and ab-initio
- quantum chemical methods
- Monte Carlo and Dynamic Monte Carlo
- simulations/computational code development (C++, Python)
